Mike Ferraro was the recipient of the 2006 Distinquished Builder Award by the Home Builders Association.  He was chosen because of “demonstrating a true sense of professionalism, strong ethical business practices and providing leadership and vision within the community and building industry.”

Mike is the Past President of the Home Builders Association and was Chairman of the Business Growth and Development and Green Built Committees.

Certifications held by Mike include: Building Sciences-High Performance Building, National Association of Home Builders Certified Green Professional,  and Department of Energy - Energy Star Partner.

For several years, Mike was a contributing writer for the Traverse City Business News, discussing topics in the building industry.

Mike and team have been active in Habitat For Humanity, Special Olympics, Toys For Tots, and supporting youth athletic events.

Mike is the recipient of countless awards from the Home Builders Association, Traverse Magazine Home Tours, and Parade of Homes.
